Product Warranty Policy

30 (thirty) day standard limited parts and labour warranty unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer. Warranty void if equipment has been tampered with. The manufacturers warranty covers the purchased end user product only. No additional services or installation cost are included in the system or product warranty. Warranty registration and claims are the sole responsibility of the end user. Astro-Tech will not provide any service, labour, shipping & handling or any other item required for a warranty or service claim. Astro-Tech may at it own discretion provide a loaner or assistance with any questions in relation to a claim of which the associated time will be billed at the current service labour rate.

Astro-Tech is not responsible for any manufacturers warranty as Astro-Tech is not the manufacturer of any end user product. Each product manufacturer is an entity unto it own and not related to Astro-Tech in and form, either legal or implied.

Astro-Tech cannot and will not be held liable or responsible for any of the manufactured products it offers. Astro- Tech may recommend a product to a customer for a specific or general task as per the specifications set forth by the customer, but will not be held responsible for these recommendations.

The time required for an RMA or warranty service item are at the discretion of the product manufacturer. Astro- Tech has no control, input or direct relation to the time required for such processes.

Astro-Tech is not responsible for items which fail due to misuse, abuse, neglect, faulty installation or improper shipping. This clause also includes failure of cleaning or arranging for a regular cleaning of either components or complete system.

All software is the responsibility of the end user and that of the software manufacturer. The above conditions are stated without exceptions. Labour charges will apply for any problems deemed to be software related, or if software setup is required.

All warranty claims and the associated shipping, brokerage and handling charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

If a claimed defective product cannot be identified or reproduced in service the customer will be responsible for all labour charges.

If a warranty claim is made for a faulty item which is no longer manufactured, an upgrade charge may apply for the current available product.

Manufacturers warranty does not include modifications, system or component upgrades, software intentional or unintentional, including viruses, spyware and malware.

Astro-Tech expressly disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness of a product or service for any purpose. Astro-Tech does not certify any product or service for performance, use or design, operability with respect to any standard, regulation or the like.

Astro-Tech will not be liable for loss or damages or delay due to causes beyond its control including but not limited to, acts of God, acts of the purchases, fire, strikes, lockouts or other labour disruptions, flood, epidemics, civil or military restrictions, wrecks, car shortages, embargoes, delays in transportation or inability to obtain necessary labour.

Astro-Tech is not responsible for data loss. It is the customers sole responsibility to back up data. Astro-Tech is not responsible for goods left over 30 days and goods will be disposed of without notification at Astro-Tech’s discretion.

Labour and installation charges are subject to change without notice.
